Michael Damiani is an American writer, producer and video personality. He joined GameTrailers in 2008, where he produced a number of content, most notably Pop Fiction. He was discharged in early 2014, before the site's closure, but was later brought to join the Allies in May 2016. For a brief period of time, he worked at Funimation Entertainment.

During EZX 2022, it was announced that both Damiani and Brad would be taking the lead on planning and overseeing streaming going forward. On July 6, 2022, Damiani officially became a co-host of Frame Trap following Ben's departure from Easy Allies.

Easy Allies History[]

Game Sleuth was one of the first series produced by Damiani at Easy Allies and made its debut on June 20, 2016. The show examined video game myths, mysteries, secrets, theories, and easter eggs, often going through rigorous tests and research to prove whether or not they're true. It served as a spiritual successor to Pop Fiction.

The Nintendo-themed podcast Friend Code premiered on April 11, 2017 hosted by passionate and critical Nintendo fan Michael Damiani. The show focuses on the latest in Nintendo news, takes Patron questions, and sometimes features special guests to talk about a variety of Nintendo-related topics.

On August 13, 2019, it was announced during the Phase 4 Announcements that Game Sleuth would be ending production so that Damiani could move on to other projects.

On March 13, 2020, Kyle Bosman announced via Patreon post[1] that he would be departing from Easy Allies the following month, citing that he needed to find his life's "main thing." In the same post, he mentioned that the Easy Allies Podcast would be hosted by Jones and that Damiani would take over as producer for Achieve it Yourself.

On February 1, 2021, Damiani announced on Patreon[2] that Achieve It Yourself! Season 3 was in production with new episodes being recorded and produced remotely due to the ongoing global pandemic. They began accepting submissions for new made-up Nintendo achievements with the request that ideas reflect games that are more readily available on Switch to accommodate working from home.

During EZX 2022, it was announced that both Damiani and Brad would be taking the lead on planning and overseeing streaming going forward. They're looking to add more fun ideas, betting, and interaction with Chat in future EZA streams.

On June 21, 2022, Ben announced he was leaving Easy Allies on July 1 due to his wife getting a new job back in his home state of Iowa. Following Ben's announcement, it was revealed that Frame Trap would continue with Brad as the new host and Damiani as co-host. Frame Trap - Episode 161 "Cowabunga!" was Ben's final episode as host of Frame Trap while Brad took over in Episode 162.[1]
